Watching Brief (WB) - Services

JB Archaeology Ltd ArchaeologyA watching brief is the commonest archaeological planning condition and in essence involves the monitoring, by an archaeologist, of all ground disturbance works (e.g. foundations, service trenches) to a previously agreed written scheme of investigation (WSI). Typically the duration of the monitoring works is dependent upon how long the ground works take to complete. A report is then produced on the results of the monitoring which will fully discharge that planning condition.

JB Archaeology Ltd ArchaeologyJB Archaeology Ltd has a well established track record of providing appropriate WSIs and undertaking watching briefs along with suitable reports in order to satisfy planning conditions.
